Privacy Policy

Dropfetti helps you share a personal milestone story with brands you love. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what control you have. Plain language, no lawyer-speak where we can avoid it.

What we collect

• Account information: your name and email address when you sign up.
• Your story content: the milestone, brand selections, and the story you write.
• Mailing address: only if you provide one, so a brand can send you something.
• Photos: optional images you upload to accompany your story.
• Payment information: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

How we use it

Your story is refined into a letter and delivered to the brand you chose — by email, or printed and mailed to their corporate address if you selected the Keepsake option. That is the core service, and it is the primary use of your information.

Your mailing address is shared with a brand only when that brand has indicated they want to send you something. It is not included in the initial letter.

We use your email to send service messages — delivery confirmations, brand replies, and account notices.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share only what is necessary, and only with these categories of trusted providers who process data on our behalf under contract:

• Cloud hosting and database providers — to run the service and store your account and submissions securely
• Payment processors — to take payment. Your card details go directly to them; we never see or store them
• AI service providers — to refine your story into a letter
• Email delivery providers — to send your letter and route replies back to you
• Print and mail providers — only if you order a physical Keepsake card
• The brands you choose — they receive your letter, and your mailing address only if they want to send you something

Each provider is contractually bound to use your data only to deliver our service, never for their own purposes. If you want the specific list of providers we currently use, email privacy@dropfetti.com and we will share it.

Reply privacy

We generate a unique proxy email address for each drop. Brands reply to that address, not to your personal inbox, and we forward the reply into your dashboard. Your real email address is not disclosed to the brand unless you choose to share it.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or ask us to delete your account and everything associated with it. Email privacy@dropfetti.com and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under the GDPR or CCPA — we honor those requests regardless of location.

Data retention

We keep your submissions and replies while your account is active, so you can revisit them. Delete your account and we remove your personal data, except where we are legally required to keep transaction records.

Children

Dropfetti is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we make a material change to this policy, we will update the date above and notify account holders by email.
