Write to iRobot. Tell them what they've meant to you.

Brands hear complaints all day. Almost nobody tells them the good stuff. Give us your story in two minutes. We turn it into a real letter, you approve every word, and we deliver it to a verified contact on iRobot's team.

To the team at iRobot

Dear iRobot team,

When we bought our first house last year, iRobot was there for a lot of the weekends that turned it into a home.

This month we're hosting our first holiday there, for both families. Twenty-two people in a house that used to feel empty.

Thank you for being part of how it got here.

Why write at all

iRobot has been part of your life for years. Has anyone ever told them?

The first night in a new place. The weekend projects. The house full of people. Their team mostly hears about problems: late orders, broken things, long waits. Your letter is the other kind of mail.

From your home to their desk
  1. 01

    Tell us the moment

The memory, the year, who you were with. Two minutes, in your own words.

  2. 02

We write it, you approve it

A real letter in full sentences, with the details that make someone stop and read. Nothing goes out until you say so.

  3. 03

    It lands with iRobot's team

Not a contact form. A verified inbox on their team. If anyone writes back, the reply comes straight to your dashboard.

Not sure what to say?

Start with one of these.

  • When we moved in…
  • It was the first thing we got for…
  • Every weekend we…
  • It turned our place into…

Wedding, graduation or birthday coming up? That's the perfect reason to write. An ordinary Tuesday works too.

Writing to iRobot

Does iRobot respond to letters from customers?

iRobot has a team that receives customer correspondence. Responses are never guaranteed anywhere, but a specific letter about a genuine milestone is far more likely to be read than a generic request.

What should I say when writing to iRobot?

Lead with the actual memory: where you were, what year, who you were with. Name the milestone that's coming up. Don't ask for anything. The letters that get answered are the ones that clearly weren't written to get something.

Is there a iRobot address I can write to?

We maintain a verified route to iRobot's team and deliver your letter there directly, with any reply routed straight back to your inbox.

When am I charged?

Only when your letter is sent. $2.99 for one brand, once. If we can't deliver it, you aren't charged. There's no subscription.

After you send

Follow your letter like a delivery.Read their reply the day it lands.

No black hole. Your dashboard shows the day it reaches iRobot's team, the one polite follow-up we send if they're quiet, and any reply, word for word.

  • Delivered to a verified contact on their team. If it bounces, you're refunded.
  • One follow-up on day 10, only if they haven't replied and your date is still ahead.
  • We email you the moment a reply arrives.

Hi Maya, thank you for telling us about Biscuit. Ten birthdays and he still goes for the box before the toy? That's our kind of dog. Your letter made the rounds on our team this morning. Happy birthday, Biscuit!

What could come back

Some brands write back. A few go a lot further.

  • A note from their team
  • A coupon or gift card
  • A shout-out on their socials
  • A surprise in the mail

Your letter never asks for any of it. It simply tells them, properly, what they've meant to you. That's the kind of mail people remember.

When brands went further

  • Gift card

    Sainsbury's

A three-year-old wrote in asking why Tiger Bread wasn't called Giraffe Bread. Customer service agreed with her and enclosed a £3 gift card. Once her mum shared the reply online, the store announced it would rename the loaf.

  • Social shout-out

    Dunkin'

When fans showed their love online, Dunkin's social team answered with handwritten notes and small gifts, and turned fan photos into its Instagram contests and ads.

  • In the mail

    Chewy

Chewy has mailed select customers free hand-painted portraits of their pets, more than 1,000 a week, and sends flowers when a pet dies.

  • A personal reply

    LEGO

Seven-year-old Luka lost a minifigure he'd bought with his Christmas money and wrote to LEGO. Richard from Consumer Services wrote back and sent a new one, plus a bad guy for it to fight.
